Listening Facilities
Individual and small group listening stations are available for analog and digital audio formats including compact disc, LP, cassette, reel to reel (by appointment only), and streaming. Although the music library provides sound recording equipment compatible with various formats, the library is unable to offer duplication or reproduction services which do not comply with U.S. copyright laws.
Multi-Use Lab
The multi-use lab has five computers (three PCs, two Macs) with music notation software (Finale and Musescore), Microsoft Office, and other common applications. Other creative software (e.g. Adobe CC) is available in the Mac Lab at Anderson Computing Complex. Computer use is restricted to AU students, faculty and staff. Public computer access is available at Bender Library by request.
The lab also contains a large screen TV that can be used on a first-come, first-served basis with headphones, or can be reserved by DPA students or faculty for class-related purposes. Contact the Music Library Coordinator for details, and to schedule a reservation. Reservations must be made at least 48 hours in advance.

A printer/photocopier is available for AU community use. For information about Library printing services, please see the printing website.
Guest printing/copying is not available, however, free scanning to email is available with staff guidance. Guests are able to print at the UPS store, located in the tunnel of Bender Arena.
