Executive Coaching Overview
Executive Coaching is one-on-one professional development designed to enhance a student’s potential to create higher engagement and performance for themselves and others. Executive coaching is a way of working with people that leaves them more self-aware, competent, and fulfilled. Coaching can help strengthen you as a leader, uncover blind spots, and change behaviors that can impact business results.
The 360 Assessment/ESCI
We believe that emotional intelligence is a critical component to becoming an extraordinary leader. The concept is discussed in several of the classes, and it is a focus of the coaching experience.Â
Coaching is based on the survey results of the Emotional and Social Competency Inventory (ESCI), a 360º feedback tool that measures behaviors that contribute to socially and emotionally effective performance.Â
Your ESCI report shows you how others—manager(s), direct reports, peers, clients/customers, and others—experience your behavior in terms of the consistency with which you demonstrate the emotional and social intelligence competencies. Your understanding and development of these 12 competencies will allow you to be a more active participant in the design for your personal development as you meet with your coach.
