Data Preservation Alliance for the Social Sciences (Data-PASS)

We are pleased to be the newest partner in the (Data-PASS) initiative. This is a voluntary partnership of organizations created to archive, catalog and preserve data used for social science research. Examples of social science data include: opinion polls; voting records; surveys on family growth and income; social network data; government statistics and indices; and GIS data measuring human activity. Other partners include:

  • °Õ³ó±ðÌý, based at New York University and at Pennsylvania State University
  • °Õ³ó±ðÌý, National Archives and Records Administration (NARA)
  • °Õ³ó±ðÌý at the University of North Carolina-Chapel Hill
  • The (IQSS) at Harvard University
  • The (ICPSR) at the University of Michigan
  • °Õ³ó±ðÌý at the University of Minnesota
  • °Õ³ó±ðÌý (QDR) at Syracuse University
  • °Õ³ó±ðÌý at Cornell University
  • The at the University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA)

This partnership will help the American University social science research community have access to important high-quality datasets.
