Megan Kurten is an Adjunct Professor in the Department of Government and a Ph.D. candidate in Comparative Politics. Her research domain is political violence, particularly the relationships and interactions between states and violent organizations.
Her ongoing research focuses on criminal politics and investigates what conditions state actors' pursuit of different enforcement strategies against organized crime.
