The Collective Bargaining Agreement between American University and SEIU Local 500 representing AU adjuncts provides for “a joint committee to discuss issues of mutual interest to employees and Management.” The committee, co-chaired by representatives from AU and the union, meets monthly as needed to discuss a broad range of issues.
