Bio
Bethany Leap is a Ph.D. candidate in the Department of Justice, Law, and Criminology, focusing on her research interests of radicalization, extremist behavior, and quantitative methodology. Her current research utilizes Bayesian statistics, text-as-data, and machine learning to understand and explain the cognitive and behavioral radicalization patterns of right-wing extremism in the United States.
