Edythe Cook is originally from Tuckerton, NJ and has lived in the Washington, DC area since 1998. As a student at AU Edythe was very active in the DC Reads Program, was an FSE Leader and Coordinator, and served as a Resident Assistant and a Desk Receptionist. Edythe completed her B.A. in American Studies at American University in 2002. She then went on to work in the Housing and Dining Programs department as the Assistant to the Executive Director for three years before transferring to the Student Health Center. In December, 2006 Edythe earned her Master’s of Public Administration with a concentration in educational leadership at American University. Edythe is very active in the Mid-Atlantic College Health Association and is the current president of the organization.
