Prof. Antoaneta Tileva is a cultural anthropologist. She teaches courses on feminism, linguistic anthropology, identity, intercultural communication, and global inequality and development. She is particularly skilled at drawing connections between complex issues and speaking with a general audience in mind. She has a depth of knowledge about feminism, pop culture, and left-leaning/"radical" movements. She can explain the critiques of capitalism and what Marxism brings to the present. She is also really interested in cultural heritage, food, rituals, and spirituality.
