- Before moving to Washington DC in 2000, Professor Van Dyke lived in New Haven, Connecticut for 16 years. During the 80’s, she taught at Albertus Magnus College and in the 90’s she taught at Central Connecticut State University.

Research Interests
Professor Van Dyke has written two books and a number of articles encouraging middle and high school teachers to use a more visual approach in the classroom. She is currently working on a research project, assessing basic visual thinking skills of students entering calculus.
